BEFORE: Bare red oak staircase. Custom staining of this staircase was preceeded by disassembling the handrails, pickets and columns. Two different stains were to be used, custom matched stain on the steps to match the hardwood floor and a dark espresso stain for the handrails and columns. Our crew of painters did the painting of the pickets, risers, sides of the staircase using a semi gloss latex paint. |

Custom stain and varnish of the steps, along with handrails and main columns but using a different, darker stain to achieve an attractive look. Pickets were spray painted and painting of the risers and sides of the staircase was done subsequently. Finished product looks great. Crisp lines around the steps are part of our high standards. |
